This ametrine ring is all about letting a spectacular gemstone take centre stage. Set in a polished bezel setting, the simple design lets the gemstone’s unusual colour and intricate faceting take centre stage.
What is ametrine?
Ametrine is a naturally occurring combination of amethyst and citrine in a single gemstone. Both are varieties of quartz, but their different colours come from variations in how iron within the crystal has been affected by heat and geological conditions. The result is a beautiful mix of purple and golden tones, sometimes with soft peachy hues where the colours meet.
Since amethyst is February’s birthstone, ametrine is a wonderful alternative for someone celebrating a February birthday who wants something a little different.

Care Instructions:

- Store in an airtight ziploc bag to prevent tarnish (included with purchase).
- Sterling silver may tarnish if the piece is stored away and not worn for a while. To remove built up tarnish use the anti-tarnish cloth to rub it off (included with purchase).
- Do not wear in a pool, spa or hot tub as the chemicals may cause the silver to tarnish and the chemicals are too harsh for the moonstone.
- It would also be wise to remove the ring before performing any strenuous activity and before bed. Take care when wearing the ring not to subject it to activity that is likely to cause scratches or damage.

- Cleaning Cloth: this cloth will remove tarnish from sterling silver jewellery. Simply wipe effected areas. Wash your hands after use.
