Our blue zircon stud earrings are set with genuine zircon.

Sometimes people confuse natural zircon with cubic zirconia. Natural zircon is a mineral and not cubic zirconia which is a man-made diamond simulant.  Often found in south-east Asia, zircon comes in many colours including blue, yellow, white and a light peach/copper-like colour.  Zircons are also double refractive which means you will see double the amount of facets and double the amount of fire.

They’re beautiful gemstones but not super durable so are best set in earrings or a pendant.

INSPIRATION

We feel that these tanzanite stud earrings are symbolic of wonder. The stones themselves are only found on one place on earth, in the areas surrounding the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. And then there’s the colour. Not quite blue, not quite violet. Maybe wonder-full.

The birthstone for December has traditionally been blue zircon. We have absolutely nothing against blue zircon and have a beautiful pair of blue zircon earrings in our shop.
